Q: What kind of diet do you recommend for spinal arthritis? I do not want to take pills. I have increased pineapple and turmeric but how much should I be taking and for how long to experience benefits and pain relieving effects? What foods are aggravating? I’ve noticed bread and tomatoes make pain worse the next day. Thank you bless you!
A: Do continue with the pineapple & turmeric regimen. In addition, look into implementing the herb called devil’s claw as well as comfrey root. These are excellent for such conditions. Avoid, by all means pastas, breads, white rice, all processed foods, and everything that came from an animal. Tomatoes and citrus are fine since they are alkaline-forming foods.
If you are taking turmeric root powder in capsules, 2 to 4 capsules per day should suffice (since everyone is different, the dosage will vary per individual). The same goes for devil’s claw. Those herbs are best taken 6 days a week. The amount of time it will take to see significant results will greatly depend on these three factors:
* Your DIET
* Your HERBAL REGIMEN
* Your MIND
I have experienced amazing (and quick) health transformations when an illness was approached in such a holistic manner.
