Q: I have irritable bowel syndrome and I am finding more and more foods even vegetables are causing severe bloating and constipation issues. What foods, herbal, raw or anything would you suggest to help me?
A: IBS is one of the many conditions that people struggle with for prolonged periods of time, unnecessarily. The condition can be fully healed (and relatively quickly too) once the person embraces a fully plant-based, living (raw) diet, eliminating all animal proteins, processed foods, and gluten. The live enzymes in raw food will put life force into the digestive tract and help to alleviate inflammation by alkalizing the tissues of the small and large intestine. Initially, there may be some discomfort however once the dried up waste moves out of the colon and the organ becomes rejuvenated, the pain will ease and you will be fully healed. Remember to drink plenty of alkaline, spring, or distilled water. Preferably 1/2 your body weigh in ounces. Aloe vera gel, senna leaf, and cascara sagrada bark will help as well.
